The difference between a house and a home is how a space makes you feel, your memories, your comfort. These homeowners had a very specific vision for what they wanted their home to be. Given the modest 1,200 square feet of living space, it may have made more sense for the homeowners to relocate to a larger house in order to carry out their dreams. But, they loved their neighborhood, where their children had grown up and where they felt most at ease. The challenging decision to completely renovation and add on to their existing home was made out of love. We felt so lucky and honored to re-visualize this home for these exceptional clients. The process, not just the end result was extremely rewarding for us and for them.
