Sometimes it’s only a matter of adding a large single space to an existing home that makes the difference. However with this addition, the homeowners wished to take it to the next level and match the cunning appeal of the original house. Notice the built-in benches in the corners and in-lay tiles and walnut mantel above the fire-place.
In the first picture below, if you look through the window to the right-hand side of the fireplace, you will see what looks to be a very charming single-story house. However, appearances can be deceiving. This small house is actually a playhouse built for the children of the original owners in the same shape and style of the original home and is no bigger than a standard shed. For this fun reason, we are calling this project, the Playhouse Addition.
